2022 Ram 3500 Now at Steinbach
The 2021 Ram 3500 did not disappoint, nor is the 2022 Ram 3500 available at Steinbach. This truck sits at the top of the range of Ram trucks as the brand’s largest and most capable model. During our testing, we were blown away by the current generation of the 3500s. For 2022, Ram has added new features, technologies and special editions.
Why choose 2022 Ram 3500?
Besides doing everything a heavy-duty truck should be capable of, the 2021 Ram 3500 and Ram 3500 are also comfortable, fun to drive, and full of high-tech gadgets. Additionally, the design of the 2022 Ram 3500 that’s available at Steinbach is fantastic on the outside and inside.
Its power and responsiveness are equal across the board. The segment also stands out in ride quality and handling. In vehicles equipped with appropriate off-road gear, we’ve been impressed with the 3500’s capability off the beaten path. Among all its benefits, the 2021 Ram 3500 and 2022 Ram 3500 comes in at a lower price than the competition.
2022 Ram 3500 Powertrain
In addition to the gasoline V-8, Ram offers the inline-six diesel turbocharged engine in the 3500. With 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, the 6.4-litre gas engine transmits drive either to the rear wheels or all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
There are two versions of the 6.7-litre turbocharged inline-six engine. One produces 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque with the standard tune. With the “high-output” version, the engine can produce 420 horsepower and 1,075 lb-ft of torque. Heavy-duty automatic transmissions are standard on the diesel 3500. The 2021 Ram 3500 and 2022 Ram 3500 fuel economy aren’t available because the EPA doesn’t test heavy-duty trucks.
2022 Ram 3500 Cab and Bed Configurations
There are several configurations of the 2022 Ram 3500 cabin and bed available at Steinbach to meet the needs of different customers. Depending on the model, a regular cab and a 2.4m bed are offered, a crew cab with a 2m bed is available, or a regular cab with a 2.4m box is provided.
With a 2m bed and mega cab, the Ram 3500 can be configured in all the same ways as the Tradesman version. The 2022 Ram no longer offers the standard cab configuration and the BigHorn model.
2022 Dodge 3500 Onboard Technology
Five-inch touch screens and Bluetooth connectivity are standard on Tradesman models. With the new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, all other models have a standard 12.0-inch screen system. These trims come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as WiFi and updates. There is a standard for a four-speaker audio system, but also 10- and 17-speaker configurations are available at higher trim levels. Additional features include a 360-degree camera system, four trailer cameras that enable a 360-degree view of the trailer and a hitch light.
2022 Dodge 3500 Safety Tech
Several driver-assistance technologies are included in the safety group, available on all trims when you check this box. The 2021 Ram 3500 and 2022 Ram 3500 at Steinbach both come with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance.
