The 2023 Grand Cherokee can be purchased in 2023 in six trims. The entry-level Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, and the Summit Reserve. Pricing starts at $53,043 and goes up to $79,845 for the top model (the Summit reserve).
Engines and Performance
All 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee trims are available in two engine configurations. You can opt for the 3.6-litre V6 engine, which has a maximum power of 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Alternatively, you can purchase the 5.7-litre V8 version with a maximum power output of 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.
The lower three trims (Laredo, Altitude, and Limited) come standard with Quadra-Trac I. Quadra-Trac II is equipped in all upper models. The Summit and Summit Reserve have additional limited rear-slip differential technology. The Quadra-Trac system senses changing terrain conditions and automatically transfers more torque to the wheels where it senses more power is needed. The slip differential technology enables the SUV to apply its power most efficiently and prevents wheelspin, thereby maximizing traction.
Interior
The Laredo has a heated steering wheel and front seats. The Limited has heated Capri leather front and rear seats. The Overland has standard ambient lighting in the cabin, a hands-free liftgate, Nappa leather-faced seats, door trim, and a panoramic sunroof. The Summit’s front seats have a massage function. The top Summit Reserve model has a 19-speaker McIntosh sound system with a 590-watt amplifier. All trims can be upgraded to special packages to include more safety and tech features.
Technology and Safety
All models have standard driver safety aids, including adaptive cruise control, a forward impact warning system, blind-spot and lane management systems, and rear parking sensors. Advanced tech consists of a Uconnect 21.3cm touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a six-speaker audio system, second row dual USB ports, a 26cm instrument cluster, and mobile phone integration. Upper trims include additional GPS navigation, SiriusXM with a one-year subscription, a traffic sign recognition system, a tire fill alert system, a driver attention warning system, and an automated parking system that parks the SUV without driver intervention.
